Dear Washington Volunteers,
For those of you who have time and would like to help out with this years Fa La La Lunch, December 19th, we have lots of great opportunities for you. Many room parents and PTO members will be working at the school all day on the 19th. We will need many more people to assist with serving lunches, clean up, setup, decorating, greeting guests, supervising students, and many other misc. tasks. If you can help please contact Anne Knapke at email@example.com with the times you can help out (between 9:00 am and 3:30pm). We will make sure you are free to enjoy your lunch time with your student, just make sure to include the times you will be eating in the email. Also, if there is a job you are unable to perform please indicate that as well in the email to Anne.
Hope to see as many of you as possible, as this will take a village to pull off such an exciting event for our school community.
Thanks in advance.
PS. If you have already spoke to Anne please still respond to this email just make sure she has an accurate list of people and times.

Washington will be rolling out the red carpet, literally, and recognizing outstanding students on December 11 at 9:00 AM. Since the beginning of the school year, students have been working on our ‘PAWS’ – Positive attitude, Acting responsibly, Working towards academic success, and putting Safety first. Teachers in each grade level, as well as support staff, have nominated students to receive a prestigious Wolfie Award. Students who are awarded will receive a framed certificate and be invited to attend an after party, complete with swag bags, immediately following the ceremony with family and friends. Additionally, students have nominated a Kid’s Choice Wolfie Award that will be presented to a special staff member.
We are very excited to be able to recognize students who are doing great things everyday, and we hope that you will join us in our celebration on December 11!
